September 1st, 2013. Winona Brownstone, television’s beloved Aleesha Cliché, nonagenarian star of the long-running daytime soap opera The Young and the Nasty has passed away violently in her sleep.

As the cast of the venerable NBS afternoon stalwart grieves and recollects, pinch-faced network executive Gustav Flart (Donovan Workun) announces the cancellation of “Y & N” after 40 amazing seasons... with the final episode to be shot live on Sunday September 15, 2013 at 7:00pm.

The whole company, now a family as close (and as vicious) as any, reels as each and every actor, director, writer, producer and crew member contemplates what could possibly be next for them.

There’s Wanda Forsythe, who plays the whorish daughter Avery Cliché (Stephanie Wolfe) and has dedicated her life and celebrity to heirloom chickens at the expense of a satisfying home-life.

Pandora Smart, who portrays housekeeper Epiphany Steele (Davina Stewart) but now wants to conquer the Broadway Musical!

Claudia Stampede as the luscious supermodel Lala Sashay (Belinda Cornish) and must now choose between myriad film offers and rehab.

Manny Fernandez as rebellious son Jack Victor Junior (Mark Meer) and must now confront the fact that though his character may be 17, he is 39.

Cathy Snell as the fifth actress to play Cliche Cosmetics Head Research Scientist Constance MacKenzie (Patti Stiles)- newly cast, she must now hit the unemployment line after only six furious episodes.

Tam Nedla as handsome district attorney Drake Cliché (Matt Alden) who’s bountiful affairs with every woman in the company bely his deep and obscure desire to join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Jim Jake Gluey as The Young and The Nasty’s longtime director (Tom Edwards), winner of seven daytime Emmys who must now bring 40 seasons to a climactic and satisfying conclusion.

And Winston Rockford III, as overbearing CEO and patriarch Jack Victor (Jeff Haslam), who has never played any other role in his life and must now convince the world of his self-perceived versatility...

AND every actor who ever played a role in daytime’s grandest and greatest finale: some left the show under a cloud and haven't worked since, some went on to extreme fame and fortune, and some just got hired and thought this was their big break...

There's actors, crew, directors, writers, fans, soap opera journalists, and more all invited back... to say goodbye!

The 21st Annual Die-Nasty Soap-a-thon presents 50 hours, 40 years, the young, the restless, the bold, the beautiful, the long long takes, the deep slow fades, the tumors, the twins, the mothers and daughters, the fathers and sons, the love triangles, the cliffhangers, the suits, the gowns, the hair, the nails, the looks, the gazes, the longing, the lust, and that special brand of acting…
